Doesn't include what they made during the regular season. I'm actually a bit surprised, considering how small the venue was and how badly they struggled to sell out the game. This is great news though, and have got to think TanenBELL are looking at this and hoping for more with the 104th Grey Cup.

Great news for the Bombers and CFL.

What's the expanded seating capacity supposed to be for the GC this coming season ?

Who said now owning a CFL is not a financial bonanza?
The Toronto media will never report this.

LOL!
The Toronto media are used to a pathetic team making tons of money (Maple Leafs).
This just isn't a story for them.

I guess that is decent and maybe best they can do; not near enough seats for a GC though IMO.

The choice is to sell fewer seats for more money per seat or sell more seats for less money per seat. The powers that be have decided to go with the former rather than the latter.

$11.5 Million for the season and Grey Cup is great. Still really surprised the Bombers made $4.4 million for the season - imagine if the team was actually competitive.

The large Blue Bomber Grey Cup profit is great news for the Argos hosting the Cup this year in their new venue.

Winnipeg has impressive fan support for being such a terrible franchise. <iframe id="rufous-sandbox" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allowfullscreen="true" style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: none; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: none;"></iframe>
