Letterkenny, Star Trek and Game of Thrones have come up of late. Just wondering what everyone else is watching and could recommend ?

I'm currently watching Bob's Burgers, Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, Letterkenny, Broadchurch, Modern Family, Archer, Vikings, Orphan Black, and Daredevil.

I've given up on Penny Dreadful a couple of times, but always go back to watching it do to the quality of the show. A bunch of other shows I haven't gotten around to watching as of yet like 11.22.63, The Night Manager, Narcos, Turn, Top of the Lake, Preacher and quite a few more. Cinemax has a new show coming out called Quarry, looks like a 1960's/1970's version of Banshee, so might be worth a look.

Has anyone seen "The Path" yet ?
I've heard some good things about it and I'm a huge fan of Hugh Dancy (Hannibal), but it doesn't really look like a show I'd be into.

I started watching Portlandia. Little sketches on their hipster culture. It's pretty funny IMO.

This is an older show correct ? I've heard of it just haven't checked it out as of yet - too many shows to watch. I always try to "catch up" on shows during the summer time, but with the CFL in full force it rarely happens.

I think it may be still ongoing but it's been around awhile. Features Fred Armisan from SNL, but I'm not very familiar with his past work.

If I want to see Portlandia I just look out the window. :)

I'd recommend Rick & Morty and Children's Hospital (which just ended), although both of those are at least a couple of years old.

I really want to see this thing.

Yes... yes indeed. It seems like Westworld is to Westworld what Battlestar Galactica was to Battlestar Galactica, and that's very promising.

Has anyone else check out "Stranger Things" on Netflix ?
Very 80's vibe to it; kind of reminds me of Goonies and a bit X Files. It's been pretty good so far (only a couple of episodes in).

I'm all about The First 48 (real homicide detectives working real murders) All new on A&E tonight at 9pm. Cops on Spike at 8pm Sat are new. My two favorite shows.

Baby Daddy on ABC Spark, seriously it's good and funny.
Love all the real deal various cop and jail shows. Never really know when they're on , I just seem to stumble onto them. Vegas Rat Rods and Bitchin Rides are a good watch if you like classic or rat rod vehicles.
Hey I'll still watch Goosebumps as many where filmed all around the Port Credit area where I did plenty of lawn maint, and landscaping in the 90's. Silly kids spooky stuff.

Better Call Saul, Hell yah!!!

Pool Master, Tree House Master and I love That show from BC with Pioneer Log Homes. Holy Shite I want one.

I'm curious about "The Night Of", which has been well reviewed on the AV Club, but I haven't watched it yet.

Stranger Things - Renewed For Season 2

Good show, and it absolutely deserved getting renewed.

Anyone check out Westworld yet ?
I've been really impressed. I haven't gotten hooked onto a show this much and/or quickly since Games of Thrones first started. Anthony Hopkins is brilliant, especially his monologue in episode 2.

I wasn't blown away to the extent that I was with Game of Thrones, but maybe it'll just take a few episodes for me to get truly into it.

The Simpsons renewed for 29th and 30th season.

I hope the 30th is the shows last season, I used to love the show as a kid, but it's a shell of it's former self, and IMO 30 seasons is more than enough.

Does it matter any more? If maintaining an elite comedy level was the point, it should have ended in '97.

I am into Gotham now...Great show. A bit hoakey at times, but I guess that's what you get for a show based around a comic book character/superhero

Also watching American Horror Story. The first 5 seasons are amazing. Not a fan of the style 6th now, but still is creepy.

The Strain. I started watching, and now have to finish it. Very poor acting, and it is just another zombie show, with no end in sight..One of those ones where I need to see the end.

Isn't The Strain about vampires ?
Fourth and Final season of the Strain is next year IIRC.

I've been watching American Gods, a bit of a weird show IMO, but I'm a big fan of author Neil Gaimen. While haven't read the book yet, but it's on my shelf waiting for my to finish up the Crown and Key Trilogy. Anyone else check out American Gods ?

Also can't wait for "The Defenders" in large part due to Daredevil, and Elektra's return. Really didn't care much for Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones (though I did love David Tennant as Kilgrave). Iron Fist was okay I suppose.

Nothing has really caught my interest for this upcoming television season (Mindhunter and Absentia being the lone exceptions).

Didn't even bother watching it as I've disliked Seth Macfarlane and his recycled jokes for quite some time. Used to be a big Family Guy fan.

First two episodes of "Happy!" have been impressive IMO. May be a bit too nutty for some.
