Well I didn't win the Mega Millions Lottery so I guess I won't be buying The Argonauts any time soon.

Holy smokes-- that was the VERY first thing I thought of when I purchased 10 bucks worth of mega millions in Philly this weekend: I'd buy the Argos. No such luck, though...

CFL has never been this strong. Not too many businesses you can purchase for 15 to 20 million where you can make a profit of 2 to 6 million a year...OSEG got a nice bargain getting a franchise in Ottawa for 9 million, three years ago. By the time the team suits up, their investment will have appraised around 50 percent.

Is Ottawa actually going to happen? Seems like every time I look they are waiting on another legal challenge. If it does happen, are they now pushed back to 2015?

If the Ottawa team does come in (which I think they will eventually), I sure hope to see a 10th team as soon as posible. 10 teams would just make things a little cleaner...

Typical for a political town like Ottawa to be caught up in a BS circus. There has been a stadium in that site for how many years? They either lived there when football was being played or knew that it could be a viable stadium again. It's like people who move beside an airport and then complain about the noise. MORONS!!!

Has CFL been healthier. League source says he thinks 6 of the 8 teams made money last year.

News1130 Sports ‏ @News1130Sports
The 2 teams that did NOT make money - that would be the 2 teams in Ontario.
Most seem to think this nowadays so not really breaking news.

But good to read it here even if it just makes us feel better.
