CFL Fans in Toronto meetups

Hi everyone,

Good news for anyone looking to catch away game viewing out of the house this summer. The Duke of York pub at St. George Station has agreed to host the CFL Fans in Toronto meetups. Many of you should be familiar with the place from the Varsity preseason games.

Our "soft launch" is this Wed. June 8 at 7:30 on the upper floor. Catch the Montreal Alouettes vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers pre-season game and catch up on CFL banter. We will be giving away 6 pairs of free tickets tickets to the Argos vs. Ticats pre-season game happening at BMO Field on Sat June 11th. Our regular meetups will start on Thursdays from Jun. 30 onward.

Hey all,

Just thought I'd bump this to give an update on our new meetup group. We've successfully hosted viewing groups every week since the start of the season. The groups have been diverse and the bar has been accommodating. We've gotten up to fifteen people and are usually around six or seven (mainly Argo and Ticats folks with the occasional western fan).

After three weeks with later Western games, we're back to a 7 pm meetup this Thursday. If you haven't come by yet, we'd like to see you!
