RIP Danny. How the game has changed size wise. Danny was listed at 6'3 250, which was considered big even for an offensive lineman back then. Now they would have expected him to be 40-50 lbs heavier.

With access to the much better weight training and dietary routines of today, it would be easy for the O-linemen of CFL past to weigh in at 300 pound range.

I have a collection of NFL yearbooks (like Street & Smiths) going back to the early 80s; NFL O-line size back then on average was way smaller then your typical CIS O-line nowdays.
