I think Collaros is back for this game so we find out if he is the cure for what ails the Ticats or whether the problems are not simply a result of hi having been injured.

Collaros is back this game, but it's his first game back in about a year. Yeah, I'm not expecting him to fix it all in game 1.

I'm guessing that Collaros will be largely ineffective.

BC is playing well right now. Do you feed Masoli to the wolves this week and then start Collaros at home against lowly Saskatchewan?

I think Masoli starts and Collaros will see some playing time in the second half when the game is out of reach.

Doesn't Austin know that you're not supposed to feed the lions? Personally, I would have waited for the 'Riders, up next, IIRC.

You can't waste games in this league as every game is critical to the standings. If Collaros is capable of starting this week, then he must.

Collaros taking first team reps.

If he's ready to start, then they expect him to be effective. This rust excuse is garbage.

I suspect he will have a pretty decent game, the team will be pumped to have him back.

I still like BC at home.

The Lions are a really solid football team in all phases.
Refreshing to actually see an exciting offensive system as well, Jennings can really fire the ball.

Looks like everyone went to bed ....m1:23 left in the game and they are tied at 38 ..... Whoops BC just got a TD ...lol 45-38
Will Collaros do it?

Good result for the Argos. Collaros didn't need to go end zone and just hit Gable who had tons of space. Both Collaros and Reilly (vs WPG) blew it by going deep.

Although I usually want east teams to win , it is good to keep a couple point up on the cats. We need any advantage we have with the backup QB.

Game shouldn't have been so close. Bad INT with return to the 3 thrown by Jennings and really bad FG miss by Leone (and subsequent return by Banks) gave the Cats 16 points. At least it made for a good finish and a heart breaking loss for the Cats.

That's 2 real great late BC games this year that I've missed because I was too tired.

Jennings is looking like an elite QB, and Khari Jones seems to have finally found his groove as an OC.

Hamilton needs to fix their defence (like Edmonton lost a bunch of starters), because not even Zach will be able to carry them when 32 points are scored in 1 half. I thought it took some time for Zach to get comfortable, but once he did he looked a lot better. Still not the Zach we saw last season, but that'll take time.

Entertaining game though, I wonder how many tv viewers stuck around for the 2nd half ?

Awesome game.
As long as Zach stays healthy the Cats would have to be favourites to win the east with the RB close behind.
Our team who knows?

No kidding. That was one hell of an entertaining (and athletic) football game.

Yeah, too bad Wally Buono has lost it. What a dumb decision to let him go back on the sidelines.

One way or another the road to the Grey Cup leads through Hamilton which doesn't bode well for Toronto who have shown no ability to beat the Ticats in a big game.

You deserve credit, AV. I too thought that Wally had lost it but he has put together an exciting winning team in Vancouver and that is a market that badly needs it. Jennings is the most dynamic, young QB that I have seen in this league since Casey Printers back in 2004. Hopefully he can get that market as excited about him and the Lions as Printers was able to do back then.
