I didn't say I appreciated all of his posts (nor do I hate all of them), but his absence is noticeable - that's all.

It's said "Banned" right under his user name for quite awhile now, even while he was still posting. I have no idea how that works, but he was posting.

The point of my latter comments was humour.
Yes, I have criticized his comments which I thought were "stupid"
I have also praised, or agreed with, his comments which I thought were accurate.
I have also expressed appreciation for his humour on this forum.
I am confident that he would understand and appreciate my humourous comments directed at him. Of course, I may be wrong in that assumption.

I had some Brown Nut Ale, in cans from the LCBO. Argoholic was correct in his recommendation. Great beer! I hope he comes back too, but slightly less obnoxious. :D

I've learned that forums are dictatorships. This place is pretty lenient compared to most other forums, and I've been banned from one or two.

Hopefully he is allowed back - I always liked his input, whether I agreed or not.

Btw, being a moderator/administrator can be a tough role. I find the mods here do quite a good job balancing varied opinions with controlling errant or over-the-top behaviour.

And yes, the losing streak has definitely got most here in a bad mood - myself included.:o

For a while back it was way too intrusive then seemed to have a nice period of calm when a certain soccer booster was booted and lately there seems to be bannings and threads closing. Wonder why?

As for 1argoholic, I have made no bones about the fact that I like him, but I know he rubs some the wrong way, so it didn't surprise me.

Double Dare is another one that was recently banned. IMO, no great loss there.
