Well according to a report by Dave Naylor of TSN ( http://tsn.ca/cfl/story/?id=381450 ): Scott Milanovich has a verbal agreement to become the next head coach of the Toronto Argonauts.

"Montreal assistant head coach and offensive co-ordinator Scott Milanovich has verbally agreed to become the new head coach of the Toronto Argonauts next season.

Milanovich, who has served as the Als offensive coordinator for the last four seasons, was given permission by the Als to be interviewed for the head coaching position"

He certainly has paid his dues, plus he was a finalist before Barker got hired... according to the reports Barker will remain on as GM.

Thoughts on his asst. coaches? O'shea has to stay on in some role (I would love to see him as Def. Co.)....

I wonder what Milanovich could do in Montreal without Calvillo? Maybe smiling Hank might give Milanovich some much needed tools, but we still some receivers that are willing to fight for the ball. I think this is the best move the Argonauts can make at this time, but they still need to make sure they develop the likes of O'Shea for the future.

We heard some wacked rumours out in Vancouver, one, which I heard for a few different people has Burris heading to the Hammer and us getting Kevin Glenn...no thanks....

Oarsman is bang on, we have some serious lack of receivers. No QB in this league currently could win with the guys that are on the roster as of now. Milanovich, if he indeed signs, will help in that aspect.

I'll be glad that Elizondo will (hopefully) be gone because his offensive schemes were like watching paint dry.

I'm sure receivers will want to play for Milanovich. Maybe we can lure away a good Montreal free agent receiver. First he has to sign on the dotted line then get a qb.

Wonder what this means for Steinauer?

After it seemed like he was going to be the next DC in Toronto last year, it has to be a bit of a slap in the face for him to go back to just being the DB coach. Or will Chris Jones want to bring in his own secondary coach and cut Steinauer out of the picture completely?
