Couldn't hurt on the Canadian content side of things. Isn't he a GTA guy? Big stong guy to boot.

I would be mildly surprised if the Argos don't bring Carter in. He would effectively take over Bryan Crawford's spot on the roster, wouldn't he? As I mentioned in the CFL forum, Steve Simmons of the Sun has always been a big Carter fan so I am sure that he would love to see Carter in Toronto which would create some positive press.

Making Steve Simmons happy would almost make me not want to sign him.

I've always liked Carter as a Canadian fullback because of his size and character. Let's get him.

It always seemed like whenever Carter got an opportunity to touch the ball, he made a first down. I hope the Argos pick him up.

LOL.
Seriously though, as Ravi mentioned, he would be a great guy to replace Crawford. Can line up both in the back field and at TE. Versatile guy that would be a good get.

As long as he does not bring his investment business in the locker room. It would be a great move.

It is interesting that both Carter and Danny Desriveaux were cut loose by the Als this off-season after Desriveaux filed suit against Carter last season.
