A sell out for CFL football At Rogers is 31,074 because the upper bowl is not used, so it's a realistic goal !

Anything close to that would be great. If they get over 25k, that's a good start.

No, I am a diehard CFL Fan that wants to see the League get even better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I actually have season tickets with the Argos and Hamilton. I even put a down payment for the new franchise in Ottawa for season tickets, and travel to Montreal when the Ticats are playing there. In addition, I attend the Grey Cup every year.

Does that answer your question ?? If you go on the Ticats Forum i post under the same name tc23 !

This is our League !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers, Oskee Wee.

I do know this, that the preseason game thats starts at noon for school kids has reached over 30,000. Not a lot of those preseason tickets hold any cash value for the Argos, but it would be good to see a over 30,000 young crowd for a preseason game

If you don't predict the attendance of the preseason game within 1K you should be kicked off the board :)

You have a season ticket number? Anywhere close to 5K?

Congrats to tc23 for helping out argos 1873. Thats what I love about this site. Nearly everyone is respectful and helpful to others which is not always the case with other websites, especially sports ones (believe me I know - the Atlanta Braves site on the Atlanta Journal Constitution had loads of people demanding the manager and many of the players be let go in the middle of their winning 15 division titles in a row and calling other posters out continuously. Despite being a Braves fan since 1959 (the same year I became an Argos fan), it got depressing reading so many negative posts that I just gave up reading them -and I wasn't the only one who did- even though there were others who were positive and had insightful comments.

Official attendance was 36,214
Being there and seeing it first hand it looked pretty packed, I would have guessed around 35K, not bad for an afternoon pre season game.

They actually opened the upper bowl for once--I figured they wouldn't be able to fit all the kids in the 100 level and 200 level because the Argos in distributing the seats had to make an assumption that all season ticket holders would show up.

Yah New Era. I'm not a fan of their hats anyhow. I've never been a huge Reebok guy either but at least they are a major sponsor of the CFL. If I walk into a store for CFL merch and they have to dig in the back to find something I'm outa there. Or when the staff doesn't know what the hell the CFL is I'm outa there. I called the New Era store in TO last year and the chick that answered was a friggin clue out.

I agree with your philosophy on the issue...however...maybe if more folks bought Argo gear from any outlet that sells it, we might find more options, and availibility.
Plus it really is a snazzy looking T...that said, most things double blue look pretty good, even some of the walmart stuff.

You really get to appreciate how AWESOME the Argo's colour scheme is when your living in a place that is ugly orange everywhere

Well I'm sure New Era pays a licensing fee to the CFL to use the logos to make their products. So technically by purchasing New Era products you are supporting the league. If people don't purchase their products they won't pay for the license again and the league loses money.

I thought it looked around the 20k range and to be realistic, that is was I was hoping for at least. I think it was a little pie in the sky thinking that they would sell out the home opener. But it was a good football crowd and they saw a hell of a game. The team should do fine the rest of the way (the one non Monday holiday game not withstanding).
