Alienated everyone in the org. Supposedly he demanded football ops. make a deal for Giguere, a qubecois in which to build a marketing campaign on, and Popp resented the interference.

Now the als have signed Rouge et Or player Patrick Lavoie for 2 years as a canadian fullback. Hadn't had one since Mike Vilimek.
