I think Rogers sees what's coming - The Jays are going downhill again, so they'll probably go back to losing money. The Dome needs an upgrade which is rumoured to cost $250-$500 million, and in 20-30 years they'll probably need a new home.

I wonder who would be interested ?

Rogers will probably sell them for close to $1B, and when the attendance starts to plummet and the new owners are looking to get out, Rogers will buy them back for $0.25 on the dollar. Just like the dome all over again.

Either that, or they will threaten selling to an American group that might relocate and try and hold governments hostage for a new stadium.
