More negative news on the horizon....

Comfortably completed after the Ambrosie Town Hall it seems....

It's the unfortunate part when a company is bought and brought into a larger organization. There will be a duplication of some positions including communications as Dykstra was one who is no longer with them.

I would think some staff will be multi-branded to include functions of the other teams.

Not surprising, and this is just the start, by 2019 the Argonauts should be completely transitioned into MLSE.

Not uncommon for a new ownership group to bring in "their person," but it doesn't make it any less unfortunate for those caught up in that. Jamie, I want to thank you for helping act as a conduit between the site and the team. Hope you catch on somewhere soon!

Hopefully it won't take too long for him to land a new gig either within the league or outside. Maybe land with the Schooners should they take off.

Has anyone spoken to your personal account rep recently? I called a couple of days ago and have not received a return call, which is very unusual, as he is very prompt, normally. Hopefully, he is taking some vacation time and is not one of the 7 individuals who have been fired by MLSE.

Shatto, who is your account rep? We lost a couple people from the sales department but most of the reps are still with the organization. I would be happy to help you out if you need assistance with anything. Please email me mhook@argonauts.ca.

Thank you

Thank you Hook for your prompt attention to my concern. At this moment, I'm heading out of town for the weekend; if I do not get a reply from my account rep by the beginning of next week, I'll send you an e-mail.

Again, thank you for your very quick reply

The Argos have gone ahead and update their staff list for the upcoming season. I was able to capture a screen shot of the former staffers list and compare it with the new one.

While many are aware that Jamie D. in communications was let go, of interesting note - 2 folks from the Marketing + Merchandising section were axed, as well as 2 from Ticketing Services.

While the new is unfortunate for all those who lost their jobs, perhaps MLSE is taking greater control over the Marketing aspects of the team?

Marketing and digital. By next year I suspect the Argos will be completely transitioned into MLSE, which aside from some people losing their jobs, is a very good thing.

when is MLSE going to slap that Argo logo on their website? Not a big concern, more just curious.

Oops my bad, I see it has now been done!
