Teams' first preseason games are usually a mixture of rookies, mistakes, and getting back in the groove, making predictions difficult. However, Montreal is such a mess, with the departure of big off-season signing being only the last in a long string of indications of problems, that I think Ottawa should take this easily.

Drew Willy will be the starting QB for the Als against Ottawa, according to HC Mike Sherman.

The game is listed as being on TSN....but I beg to differ. I can't find it on my satelitte tv.

It's on TSN2. Trevor Harris suffered a serious-looking leg injury.

I think Rod Black was intoxicated tonight.

All of the Als' points came from kicking as their offence once again looked very weak in this 27-7 loss, gaining 181 yards in the air and 72 on the ground.
Even though it's only preseason, the Als still look like a mess.

Drew Willy or Shitz at QB? Mavis at GM and a HC with zero Canadian game experience?
I smell an 0 & 18 possibility there.
Would not be good for the future of the Als in Montreal.

I hope that doesn't happen, as the last thing we need is a floundering Montreal Franchise, but if it means we could see new Owners: I'd be all for it. I don't know about 0-18, but I predict the Als will be last in the CFL again.

A pretty safe bet.
