Game Thread: PRESEASON WEEK 3 - Winnipeg at BC - Friday June 8th

Both teams appear to have improved their roster compared to last year. However, last place BC has further to go to reach Winnipeg's level, so I'll pick the Bombers.

The Bomber QB picture is become a big ? following the retirement of Darian Durant, Nichols being out of action for 4-6 weeks due to injury, and the performance of Alex Ross, Chris Streveler and Bryan Bennett against the Riders. Ross was only 1/8 for 12 yards. Streveler, after going 10/10 for 140 yards and a TD in his first preseason game was only 3/9 for 44 yards while Bennett went 5/9 for 64 yards.

The two Canadian rookie receivers had contrasting performances. While Daniel Pettermann caught four passes for 21 yards and had a TD enabling block on a pass by Bennett, Simonise had no catches and appeared out of position on a couple of throws.
