Just thought that we could keep track of the Sections that are selling the $5 beers in stadium.

Yeah that seemed to be the case today. Last game I didn't see it at all.

The signs are a bit hidden. I saw them last game, but thought it would be available at every beer stall. Not just Bud exclusive.

Pretty good deal if you can buy a ticket for $19 (plus $2 tax) and beer for $5. For $50 you could have a ticket to the game and 6 beers.................

Right outside of s. 119/219 had it for both games.. and the lines are pretty short.

They should sell discounted beer, or maybe free, on the East side. Too hot to sit there in the summer month for afternoon games. But some people might grin and bear it for cheap beer.

I'm on a budget so I had to do it, but I got my ticket for $6 US on Stubhub in the endzone (12 after fees and conversion), had 2 beers and took the train in from Clarkson. The whole game cost me $38. You can't beat that for a sporting event in 2018.

No offense but this is a terrible idea, especially if the Ticats or Riders are in town. There would be drunken fights everywhere if there was free beer. It's impossible to enforce limits. Also beer is the worst thing you can put in your body when it's hot out. I would suggest keeping start times at 7:30 pm before Labour Day and keeping afternoon games in September and October.

Well alcohol dehydrates you so maybe not the best idea...

Obviously beer will never be given away for free -- this is Ontario and Canada, after all. And the idea of discounting it one side of the stadium is a non-starter, given that there is nothing stopping anyone from crossing sides.

It's cheaper to drink at home; or not at all. In the latter case your belly will thank you.
