Travis Lulay may play QB and may be an improvement over Jennings. However, he has been out of action due to injury for a year, so the rust may show. Nichols was capable but not his best last week and he only missed three games. He should be better this week and that combined with the league leading Bomber offence should mean a Winnipeg win.

Lulay might help - big-time; Jennings has plenty of talent but has failed to progress after his big CFL season where he showed so much promise; BC's O should be doing much better with the talent they have in the receiving corps (arguably league best calibre IMO); plus Johnson and Rainey as weapons at RB; and their O-line has talent too; but something has been clearly lacking or missing so far this season.

Their D has some very good talent too, but maybe a few holes.

IMO - they have some big lack of coaching smarts problems - yep, even with all-time Wally leading the way.

Key game for BC IMO - a bad loss at home and expect attendance to plummet to even worse lows if the fan base figures they are lousy; and falling behind in the West early will mean good luck for a play-off spot. Don't see another West cross-over this year.

Lulay was likely the difference in this game, it took him awhile to get going but the important thing was that last minute drive. The Bombers moved the ball well but red zone problems let them down. Rainey did a pretty good job in replacing the injured Jeremiah Johnson.
The CFL is a puzzle this year so far, clearly only one team stands out.

This game a tale of 2 halfs; Bombers dominate the 1st half and then complete reversal for the 2nd half.

Bad picks tossed by Nichols; a couple of glaring drops by iffy hands Darvin Adams (plus that catch that was reviewed and allowed = no way he got feet down in bounds); LaPolice offence is fairly predictable and unable to change or adjust in the 2nd half.

West this year = tale of a bunch of mediocre sub .500 looking teams - BC, Riders, Winnipeg, and maybe Edmonton too; I thought the Stamps were in for a big let-down this year and far fewer wins. Not with that lame to wimpy competition though.

Lulay's 300+ yard passing performance, once he got rid of the rust in the second half, gave BC a degree of offensive consistency that was missing in previous games and with everyone except Calgary and Edmonton at .500 or less, keeps the playoff picture wide open.
