Calgary's defence should dominate once again for an easy victory.

Chris Jones wouldn't unleash Bridge late in the game when the team had to in order to have a chance of winning, calling running plays and dump passes that led nowhere.

Clearly, Jones has no confidence in Bridge. Whether he should or not is subject to debate.

When you are down to the dying minutes and deep in your own end and 2TDs behind, it doesn't matter how good your QB is, you don't have enough time to win using plunges into the middle of the line and dump passes. Bridge, whatever flaws he has, does have a strong arm, which he showed once again on a 16 yard rocket into Evans hand, who dropped it ending the last Rider drive. Also wasting Duron Carter as a DB until 1:20 second were left and then using him to catch a single seven yard pass, is a gross misuse of talent and also reduces the chance of Bridge succeeding. While Carter has some capability as a DB, the idea that they could not find anyone with at least as much skill as a DB is ludicrous. Bridge showed he had some talent last year replacing Kevin Glenn. Jones approach this year is all but guaranteeing failure with Bridge both in terms of play selection and in earlier games because of Jones' record number of QB changes in a game.
