I like Paul a lot, and love chatting with him whenever I run into him at the stadium or any other team event. I'm sure he will come back stronger than ever. I passed on my thoughts to Rachel, and anyone that follows Paul on twitter should do the same.

Paul is a very good guy, glad he got treatment and is on the mend.
Get well Paul!

I thought that Paul had gone suspiciously quiet this past week.

Sorry to hear about his health issue, but hope he comes back as strong and dedicated to his beloved Argos as he has always been.

I introduced myself to him at a game last year and chatted for a while.
The man is INTENSE about following the Double Blue!

So sorry to hear about Paul's recent health incident. As with everyone else, I wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to reading his
informed , erudite, well expressed comments again in the near future

We all have strong opinions about our loved Argos but something like this puts it all into perspective.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Rest assured I have every intention of being back very soon, hopefully by the enxt home game. In the meantime I will have to content myself with waking up over here to find out who won tonight's game. Go Argos!

Here's hoping for a quick return to good health for you Paul. Hopefully an Argo win tonight will help with that.

Good thing you missed the game Paul. Watching the Argos come from 24 points behind to win 42-41 with one second left might have resulted in more heart surgery.

It was the second greatest comeback in Argo history and in the top 10 in CFL history. A memorable game for sure. You will enjoy it, Paul.

My daughter can now say that she was at both of the greatest comebacks in Argo history. I have such fond memories of that Marvin Graves game in 1994, but this one is actually more memorable in my opinion. it must be killing the redblacks, to have blown such a winnable game the way they did.

Best wishes to you Paul. Keep fighting the fight. (thanks for your many excellent posts here also)

I was at that 1994 comeback game, my first year as a STH, was so sweet coming against Hamilton.
This 2018 game was memorable as well, and for me it was for 2 reasons...
#1 Reason of course the Argos comeback, but #2 my buddy sitting beside me won the $7K 50/50 draw!
He has been a STH since 1991 so after 28 years of trying, he sure deserves it!

here's an idea...Maybe we should start a new Thread on here, about the 50/50 draw...
has any of our posters on this site ever won it?

Great to see Paul posting again so soon after his surgery. Also great to see tht the 50/50 draw was won by a STH. I have been buying $20 worth at every game, and never get more than the first number, lol.

BTW... I was at the Winnipeg game vs. the Argos on July 27th. With 27,000 fans, their draw total was $108,000!!! What I would give for us to have those kind of crowds.

I don't know the technical/legal side of it but I believe that there are some sort of rules and regulations that prevent Ontario 50/50 draws from producing such large winnings.

Last weeks 50/50 in Edmonton was over $400 000. That is incredible! I had to double check when I heard. I believe that would mean that the 37 000 in attendance would have an average of $20 a ticket.
