HC Marc Trestman now says that it is possible that Duron Carter will play on Saturday, which would be a reversal of his previous announcement that Carter would not play in either of the Tiger Cat games.

I want him in for sure, but let's be honest here. Learning the system had nothing to do with him sitting. I don't blame Trestman for wanting to see how he fits in attitude wise. By all accounts, he has been great in that regard, so let's get him in to line-up now.

Not really much choice. This game could be the season, or at least any chance at second place.

He will be playing and I think Dexter Mcluster will also get his first start in Alford's spot. We shall see tomorrow though.

If that is the case, I would hope to see Noel and Carter as the wide outs, with McCluster playing Coombs spot and Green and Edwards in their regular SB positions. I would also keep Alford in the line-up over Smith.

Dexter's last game was on the 6 game was against Hamilton. He has been practicing since early last week.

This is great news. They've got to shake up the offence and give the Cats some different looks this week, one way or another. If they're not going to put Franklin in, then I love the idea of Carter and McCluster coming in, two guys who can really shake things up.

My only concern is that they didn't run any full practices this week, just walk-throughs due to the short week, and I'm wondering if the timing will be there for the new guys.
