Winnipeg needs a win more than the Riders, so I'll go with the Bombers.

Yeah, I think that Winnipeg will win this one as well.

Maybe, but i have a hunch the Riders are on a roll and the Bummers O confidence is shot. Boo birds will be on Nichols early if they struggle and O'Shea is too conservative/chicken to turn to Strevler to shake things up.

Riders in a close one.

Collaros is concussed, fumbles the ball and out of the game in the fourth quarter. Bridge is now the QB. How many more concussions can he take before his career is over?

Bridge led the Riders down the field from their 35 to the Bomber 14, but they had to settle for a field goal because of a weird call by Jones on second and nine, following a first down run for one yard, where Jones had Bridge hand it off to Mason for six yards rather than attempt a pass for a first down. It worked out in the end because the Rider defence stopped the Bombers. However, I found it strange because a pass was much more likely to lead to a first down and goal to go or a TD and even if Bridge had been sacked on the play, the FG would still be a chip shot. Bridge looked better on this drive than in any other set of plays than he has all season. Another sign that Jones shows no trust in Bridge even when he does something.

It was a crazy game with nine interceptions, three of which went for touchdowns with two going over ninety yards and three other interceptions called back because of penalties.

Well, at least O'Shea had the guts to turn to Strevler - after Nichols was terrible again (that gift TD pick to Eguaoven was brutal and might have cost them the game); Strevler should only improve - he has a good arm and as a big plus is a real run threat QB; and the Bummers may have found another very good starting receiver in Petermann (and kinda interesting that Strevler targeted him lots = 2 rookies who have probably worked together lots as 2nd teamers; Nichols probably would have ignored Petermann to load up on his fave 1 or 2 targets); Petermann was IMO the steal of this past draft - most athletic receiver at Combine testing and very good college ball production; several teams missed the boat there ("cough" - dumb-@$$ Desjardins with Ottawa for one).

Bumblers & BC will be in a battle to see if either can win enough games to qualify for the East cross-over; don't want to see it, but maybe likely (unless the Als can go on a roll, and they might be able to with that talented D and if they stick with young Pipkin - who is one of the most impressive young QBs i've seen in the CFL in some time (limited sample still, but ...) - they'll probably defer to all-american hero Manzier though ?

Matt Nichols had possibly the worst game of his career with five interceptions (two of which were overturned by penalties) in only one half of play.

Who's Manzier ?
Is it really that difficult to get his last name right ?
