Both teams have gotten off the floor and back in the fight for a playoff spot making this an interesting game. With Jennings looking good after taking over from Lulay following his leaving the last game on concussion protocol, the Lions have two QBs available who performed well recently. Meanwhile Manziel has missed three practices with stomach flu, leaving the possibility of Mathew Shiltz backing up Antonio Pipkin. Based on greater QB depth, I'll pick BC.

Here's the Als' depth chart. Manziel is listed as the #3 QB behind Pipkin and Shiltz. Not surprising after his missing three practices this week, reportedly due to stomach flu. He's also questioning why he is not the starting QB.

Als going all imports at receiver = Pipkin should be able to throw for a thousand yards or so this game with that amazing receiving corps.

BC QB was injured on the teams first offensive series, leaving the field with his left arm immobilized by a trainer. Jennings has replaced him.

I think Manziel starts next week. Pipkin and his 15 minutes of fame are over.

Kinda stunned as to why they did not turn to Manzier late in the game - Pipkin was doing little (other than some good runs), and threw 2 pick sixes, yet they kept him in there? Maybe Johnny superstar is still nicked or not ready, but this was a huge game for the Als to try to keep momentum and position themselves for a play-off spot. Pipkin is 'over" just because of one weak game ??? Manzier could play 10x worse next game and i doubt he gets written-off for good? Pipkin IMO still could be the Als future starter and for a long time maybe - he has some serious QB skills, just needs to learn more. Too bad their offence is too dumb to give him support by banging the ground game, plus are saddled with a real sub-par receiving corps.

Manziel missed the first three practices of the week, reportedly because of stomach flu. He then complained about not being the starting QB. HC Sherman then listed him as the third string QB. The question is whether Sherman did this because he felt Johnny wasn't ready healthwise or was he sending Manziel a message.

I thought they should have made the change at the half. It was obvious to me Pipkin wasn't going to do anything last night. Even the sacks weren't all on the o-line. He was confused on his reads and held onto the ball way too long on at least 4 of them. They need to go back to Manziel and see if he has a future or not. I for one think he does.

Amazing this is the same Pipkin that picked Toronto’s defence apart a few weeks ago.

Pipkin has had 0 TD and 7 INTs in his last three games, including having although zero TDs and 1 interception against the Argos, although he passed for 300+ yards.

Montreal's attendance continued its downward slide to 15,346, the lowest of the regular season, raising more concerns about what will happen next year if there is no turnaround in performance.
