I think this deserves its own thread.

It sounds like the news (https://www.tsn.ca/all-star-wr-walker-agrees-to-join-argonauts-1.1257756) isn't quite official yet, but this is obviously a big deal.

Edit: And now it is official.

Is this the biggest Non-QB signing of this years free agency?

I'd say so, if only because receivers are "flashy" and he was the big fish.

Very excited to see a bona fide deep threat signed. We haven't really had one since Terry Greer or Mookie Mitchell. Walker, SJ and Edwards will be a formidable trio for whoever lines up under center.

Rocket Ismail, David Williams, Arland Bruce and Chad Owens were all pretty good deep threats

As much as I love Arland Bruce -- one of the all-time great Argos in my book -- I don't think he had the speed to be considered a bona-fide deep threat. But I would add R.J. Soward to your list.

Derel Walker, S.J Green, Armanti Edwards, Anthony Coombs and Llevi Noel is a good receiving corps on paper. It is paramount that Coombs remains healthy although a guy like Dexter McCluster could possible take his place if #1 runs into more injury trouble.

Bruce caught a lot of deep balls. To me, that's more of a deep threat than a guy with all out speed. Adarius Bowman and Allen Pitts certainly weren't burners, but they were deep threats. Same with Duke Williams.
