The Toronto Argonauts are expected to announce a trade involving offensive lineman Chris Patrick heading to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for a future draft pick.

I'm not surprised actually simply because I hadn't heard about him much amongst the usual chatter, which I found somewhat surprising because I thought that the OL was going to be a more open competition.

With the trade official, the Argos will most likely be keeping one of the other import rookies OL on the PR as depth in the event one of the NI starters going down due to injury.

Madani just tweeted that the Bombers badly wanted Chris Patrick before we sent him to Regina. Since there was apparently interest from multiple parties, maybe the trade was more favourable than we currently realize and we'll end up with a pretty good pick from the Riders.
