Montreal is improving but I still think this is Ottawa's game to lose.

Vernon Adams had a career best 327 yards and Stanback rushed for 100 yards as Montreal thumped Ottawa 36-19. Is the cinderella team for real or will it turn into a pumpkin soon?

Weird to see Kavis Reed go after finally getting the Als win their second game in a row against division contenders and start to show signs of major improvement on the field, considering all the criticism, including from me, that he has got in the past over the poor performance of the Als and nothing being done about it.

The Als are a better team than Ottawa and it showed this game.

Good move to get rid of that clown Mavis = onwards & upwards for the Als; Vernon Adams is a good QB IMO (needs to be coached up to run more at the right opportunity = feed him old film of Tracy Ham); Stanback is a very solid RB and i think they have a good young O-line; not that much at receiver, but good enough i guess (Cunningham & Posey are both over-rated and not near good enough as 1-2 IMO); the Als also have lots of talent on D, except for D-line which is not quite good enough; Bede is iffy as a kicker but has the potential to put it together with that booming strong leg.

RedBlacks have huge issues on both O & D, IMO; lucky the play in the East with the HS level Argos.
