Great news, glad to see the Nimby's lose, pointless "battle" IMO.
Still feel that both Ottawa and Hamilton really messed up on their stadium locations though.

This is the only sensible thing that Friends of Lansdown has done. I agree about Hamilton making a huge error in their new? stadium location, but what is your concern about Ottawa's location?

Having lived in Ottawa, I believe that the location of the stadium is perfect as it is centrally located for everyone in the region. Yes, parking has never been great but there is ample public transit IMO. I believe that Lansdowne is far more accessible than where the Senators play out in Kanata which is where Eugene Melnyk wanted to put his stadium.
