I am not old enough to see him play, but he is (I think) the all-time Argo (2007 edition) for the Argos at the Centre position. Condolences to his family.

I remember him well. Trying to think when was the last time I saw him. It was when the Argos were still at Sky Dome. He looked great with a big shock of white hair. Stoneburg at center and Nykoluk at right tackle, Billy Shipp at left tackle was the main stay of the Argo O Line for years. The Guards seemed to come and go. Butch Laroue was one name I remember at Guard. But Norm Stoneburg was the Argo Center for a decade at least. Missed one year I believe with a broken leg. RIP

As a young teenager, I remember the very effective interior of the Argo OL (Stoneburg, Nykoluk, Shipp) being together for a quite a while. Sorry to read of his passing.
