Good Morning,

This week on the fancast, Doug, Clay and I recap free agency with Mike Hogan and get some additional insights into the opportunity he got to sit in with the personnel department during day 1 of free agency. Very interesting stuff so please give a listen.

The show is also available on iTunes.

Good show guys and Mike.
If you do another one before the combine I would have some questions about the Global players. Teams are going to draft 5 rounds I believe. Will these players be only from Countries that the CFL has signed agreements, or any player not American or Canadian? Are "Global" players playing in the NCAA eligible to be drafted?
I have noticed that there are over 20 kickers (mostly punters) from Australia beside a few Linemen on Div. I NCAA teams. Also some linemen from Nigeria.
Watching the Bowl Game that Eastern Michigan was in last month the announcers mentioned that the starting left tackle Steve Nielsen 6'8 330 was from Denmark. A player like that would quite likely to be able to start eventually in the CFL. But is he considered a Global player if he plays College ball in the US?
