Unfortunately, the pandemic may alter what the Argos might have otherwise had planned for the anniversary.

Apparently, Carling O'Keefe retained a small share of the Argos after their 1988 sale to Ornest. The brewery could have, theoretically, vetoed the sale of the team to McNall, Candy and Gretzky, however it was not expected that they would stand in the way of the sale.
