Angelo was one of the CFL's greatest and always loyal to the CFL. Sorry to see him go except for all the problems he caused the Argos.

Heartbreaking news. Met him at a few of my wrestling shows as Mosca Jr wrestled on them. We talked football, not wrestling. R.I.P.

Angelo was one of the CFL's greatest and always loyal to the CFL.

Angelo Mosca was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles but chose to play for the Tiger-Cats.

My Dad told me the story of me, as a little kid (3 or 4 or so? - i have no memory of it) - getting to meet big Ang, at a store in Ottawa somewhere; apparently I made some threatening gesture and Mr. Mosca roared with laughter. Back in the days when our CFL stars/heroes seemed larger than life and were known and respected in most parts up here.

Starting with tonight's Argo game Hamilton will be wearing a decal honouring Mosca.
