That's my takeaway from Reginald Bibby's latest sports survey in Canada: https://www.tsn.ca/national-survey-indicates-many-canadians-don-t-want-nfl-here-at-the-expense-of-cfl-1.1728847

The league is still doing much better than it was at its depths in the mid-1990s but has certainly slipped over the past decade.

The same guy did a survey in 2015 that revealed that 10% of Americans claim to follow the CFL, which is really hard to believe.

No disrespect to Mr. Bibby, but his surveys are mostly meant to grab media attention IMO. And I have a hard time seeing how the league could be considered to be doing OK. Someone posted on Riderfans that the league has seen year-over-year attendance declines every year since 2012, and in almost every case individual teams have also suffered annual declines. For a league that clearly relies on ticket sales, that is not a good platform to do better.

I was referring to interest in the league when talking about the league doing okay. Certainly, there are no shortage of problems to address this off-season.
