The Bombers lost the CFL's leading receiver in yardage, Kenny Lawler, to free agency, and Darwin Adams but picked up Greg Ellingson and former 1,000+ WR Jalen Saunders to go with Nationals Nic Demski and Drew Wolitarsky, as well as Rasheed Bailey and a host of others coming to TC.

Despite the loss of Andrew Harris, Winnipeg has a strong Canadian RB contingent heading into TC including Johnny Oliveira, Johnny Augustine and his 6.8 career rushing average, 2021 draft pick Kyle Borsa and at fullback all-time CFL ST tackles leader Mike Miller, Anthony Valvano of the Vanier Cup winning Mustangs, and 2022 draft pick Konner Burtenshaw, as well as several American rookies.

Winnipeg has a very good QB in Zach Collaros, but with the retirement of Sean McGuire, who played very little while competing only 15/36 passes, the Bombers are left with former Argo Dakota Prokop, who in four years with Toronto and the Elks also gained little experience going only 36/56 for 467 yards. Dru Brown, who is 7/14 for 49 yards after signing with the Bombers in 2020 has even less experience Jake Foriea who played at three American universities, ending up at Div III John Carroll University, is the rookie. The Bombers had better do a good a job of protecting Collaros, because the rest don't inspire a lot of confidence.
