Since the game is sold out, sounds like someone or some ticket place is trying to make a few bucks. That's why I hate places like this, tickets for the people I say!!

Sheesh
notice on the seating plan they have, they are showing an American field. I thouhg it looked awfully small.

How many contests are there out there? That would be fun to find out. Considering that would be the last chance for some, including me.

The prices have been double the purchase price since the late May purchase window. It's only going up from here.

I would imagine that they are still holding back some for packages.

Well you can read my new post. We need tics after our royal screwup and loss of deposit. I'm so down.

Why don't you enter the Gibson's contest? You'd be sure to get lots of attention.

How times have changed! I remember the only Grey Cup I ever attended - 1987 Grey Cup in Vancouver where my three friends and I talked a scalper into selling us 4 tickets for $30 each after the start of the Eskimos-Argos game. We got to our seats just as Gizmo returned a 115 yard missed field goal for a touchdown. Lance Chomyc missed two field goals in the opening quarter. It looked like a disaster for the Argos. But the Argos charged back as Gil Fenerty took a 60 yarder for a touchdown. The lead changed hands five times. Both starting quarterbacks (Dunnigan and Renfroe) went down but the backups (Allen and Barrett) were outstanding. Barrett gave the Argos the lead 36-35 with less than 3 minutes to go. But the Argos missed a two point convert and the Eskimo's won on a field goal. I still think it was the best Grey Cup (or game for that matter) that I ever saw. The one consolation to the loss is that both Eskimo qbs later led Argos to Grey Cups. The best $30 I ever spent in my life (and believe it or not 2 of my friends weren't even ready to go the game (not big CFL fans) until us other two said we would leave them if they didn't take the deal. The one good thing about today's prices is that it shows how popular the CFL is again.
