A lot of Riderfans. must be mystified by the Als not having a big "ratio problem" in starting 9 Canadians. J-Grant with a long-bomb TD; back-up LB Harleimana with a couple of sacks, Dequoy with a pick 6; rookie Philpot with a 60 + yard gainer on a reception ?

Nice game by Als DB N. Murray, and most of their D for that matter. They might be able to put together an East first place run if their D can play this good, + Trevor Harris plays smart at QB ?

DBs in general get beat a few or many times a season on some deep passes; the Riders D gave up a long-bomb TD to Ticats' Dunbar in the 1st game; Lawler & oldster Manny Arcenaux got deep on them in the EE game; and Philpot had a 60 some yard gainer last night. They might need to deploy their safety a bit differently to help with this problem.

Yep - was a beautiful drop the ball in there deep throw to a receiver in full stride; we just don't see enough of that in the CFL game anymore IMO, and some QBs now are just not consistently good at it, plus OCs are too gutless / play it safe with 3 yard hitches favored instead.
