Did anyone find them to be a little more overzealous than usual on Saturday?

About the same as usual. Took a walk around before the game so entered at the south end of the stadium whereas normally I'd enter from the northeast corner. Found that the lines moved much more slowly here but it looked more like inexperience rather than zealousness. Smiles all 'round and courtesy, too, which make the wait much more tolerable.

When I arrived, the line for gate 1 was backed up to almost the go station, so yeah they were way more overzealous. I missed the first possession for each team.

There was no issue whatsoever at the BMO customer entrance.

The lady opened up my wallet briefly, which (i) seemed unnecessary and (ii) had never been done by BMO security before.

During the EX I had to convince security to let us in with a $30 log of cured elk venison that my friend had purchased as a gift for her boyfriend. It was hilarious.

We got in after I asked them just how the heck we were going to open this greasy package of game meat and eat it in the stands.

I'm going to remember the way the security guard held this log of venison in the air for the rest of my life.

Not any more so that usual lately. I have noticed the last couple of times I've had to take off my hat before walking in, which they didn't used to before. I just wear a standard baseball cap at the games. I guess someone (or multiple someones) was sneaking shots of vodka or something into the stadium?
