This is important to lock a Canadian safety.

More excellent work by Pinball, Magri and Russell. Well done, fellas!

Awesome! - Metchie is only 26 years old and already a solid safety with several years of starting experience - could evolve to even better.

Argos have some excellent Canadian D talent with Metchie, Muamba (Cassar in the wings ready to take over or play in situations; Hoyte too), and Robbie Smith, Acheampong, and hopefully Dionte Knight (can likely play at both DE & DT similar to Menard in BC?) all capable of playing regular reps in the D-Line rotation; way ahead of most 7 only thinking CFL teams, especially on the D. Could also add some good new prospects via the draft ( perhaps take one of a few good DEs that are up, to team with Robbie, since Vilain is likely staying in the NFL)

Wonder if we might go after Boateng in free agency.

Possible; but I might steer clear; coming off a full season missed with injury and the season before he was very average for the EE IMO (after flashing very good talent before). Rather go with a top draft pick pass rusher. And Dionte Knight (U Sports sack leader in his final season) might pan out more at DE if given a shot there.

The Argos, by far, have the best Canadian talent and depth in the league, in my opinion.
