And I know it's just the first game, but Hamilton's DL has been very unimpressive.

Too early to make any definitive judgments, but the Roughriders are absolutely owning the Ticats tonight. Up by 27 -- who would have believed it? The Cats looked good in the first quarter but their defence looks to need a LOT of work.

It could be that the Tiger Cats are were that bad defensively, but it's the first game, they have a good team.

The biggest question marks for the Ticats coming into the season were the offensive and defensive lines IMO and they were beaten along the line of scrimmage tonight.

The Stumps got rid of Burris for a reason. I was never on a Burris bandwagon. But it's day one. The Ticats may go all up from this point, and the Riders may go down. I`m not making any bets...but I`ll never waste my money betting on Burris.

No doubt. One thing about football, no matter how many stud running backs, wideouts and d-backs you have, you aren't going anywhere if your lines suck.

Sask's lines looked pretty good, and Hamilton's looked pretty bad.

The Ticats D-line and secondary looked horrid = good sign for the Argos and the rest of the East.

I don't think Burris was that bad, there was like about 6 drops in the game.

Agreed. Without all those drops, Burris only throws roughly 5-7 incompletions.

Typical Hamilton losing it's home opener. They have a real knack of starting slow and coming on to finish 9-9 or just being crap. I think they'll end up in the mix with what should be a crazy east.

Winnipeg lost as well which is great.

I think B.C proved last year that it's wwwaaaaaayyyy too early to judge.

Too hard to call but SSK O-Line certainly looked impressive.
