Gill the Thrill Fenerty and Ulysses Curtis are the two Argos on the list of top five players in scoring TD/game. David Williams, another former Argo, tops the list of TD/game among receivers until Dalton Schoen took over the lead in this category.

Only five players in CFL history have scored more than 0.79 touchdowns per game and they were all running backs — Jon Volpe (1.05 per game), Pat Abbruzzi (1.02), Bombers Hall of Famer Willard Reaves (0.85), Gil Fenerty (0.85) and Ulysses Curtis (0.81).

WR Dalton Schoen has caught 23 touchdown passes in his first 29 games, which works out to 0.79 per game, a ratio that not even all-time great receivers like Milt Stegall, Geroy Simon, nor Allen Pitts attained in their storied careers.

Former Bombers receiver David Williams has the best ratio for retired receivers with 0.77 per game. He had 78 receiving touchdowns in 101 games with Winnipeg, B.C., Ottawa, Edmonton and Toronto.

Stegall is the CFL’s all-time touchdown leader with 147 (144 were on receptions), which works out to 0.74 majors per game over his 199 games of service.

Gill the Thrill Fenerty lived up to his nickname while playing for the Argos while playing for the Argos from 1987 to 1989. He was an All-Star every season he played and set an Argo rushing record with 1247 rushing yards in 1989 before heading to the NFL.

Ulysses 'Crazy Legs' Curtis won two Grey Cups with the Argos in 1950 and 1952 during his five years with the Argos. Although long considered the first Black Argo, although it is now known that Ken Whitlock did play four games for the Argos in 1948. Curtis despite only playing five years is still fourth on the Argo all-time rushing list, second in yards rushing in one game, and third in 100 yard rushing games.

While David Williams is a Canadian Football Hall of Fame member for his performance over seven years with Toronto, BC, Ottawa, Edmonton and Winnipeg, injuries limited his receiving yardage during his two years with the Argos.
