Read the TSN ticker and I guess that means O'Shea is still in the running for Hamilton.

I doubt it. I think that the only two who could still be in the running would be Tim Burke and George Cortez and I am not even sure about Cortez. Look for Tim Burke to become the new head coach in Hamilton with Greg Marshall (not the Western Ontario one) replacing Burke as defensive coordinator in Winnipeg.

is there a lack of coaches for the cfl or something why does it take so long

I am not sure why Hamilton is taking so long. Ideally, CFL teams like to have their head coaches in place by Christmas at the latest. The Argos went much later than that two years ago which didn't do Jim Barker any favours when he finally was hired. I am surprised that the Ticats have taken so long which puts them a bit behind the other teams in the league in preparing for the upcoming season.
