I've heard this guy in small doses before but never knew who he was?...He's working on TSN radio this week for Bryan Hayes and he's superb. He was working with Steve Simmons after lunch and unlike other Americans who come up here....he's serious about talking Canadian Football and the Argos.
He's passionate about the Argos A/C not working in their dressing room and is surprised this is not a bigger deal.
Simmons told him that the Argos have rabid fans, but not enough of them...that being said, Spanier has brought this up again prior to 3 pm and is actually getting calls.
He seems like a humble guy and says he's supposed to be here all week, should his bosses want?...well, I've heard his show longer than I could ever tolerate Hayes in the afternoon, as he is way better. If I was TSN radio. I'd have a contract ready for him to sign right after his first shift is over at 4pm.
This guy has had #1 shows before and imo could go toe to toe with Bob McCown in the afternoon drive.
