At least according to Arash Madani's twitter feed.

Have learned the #Argos have come to terms on a 3-year extension with RB/SB Andre Durie. 6-figures per. Smart deal for both sides. #CFL

More on the deal. http://www.sportsnet.ca/football/cfl/2011/12/29/argos_durie/

Durie had his deal restructured, avoiding the 2012 season becoming his option year, and in the process has become one of the top paid Canadian skilled position players in the CFL. The 30-year-old from Mississauga, Ont., will average between $110,000 and $120,000 for the duration of the contract after coming off his best season as a pro.

Great news, and further evidence that Durie is seen as a key part of the offence.

I like this move. Durie has been a solid player for several years now.

Excellent news. I'm very happy with this decision. He definitely has earned the new deal.

A great signing.
Let's hope coach Scott can figure out a way to use Durie more.
