Just listening to the Riders post game on the internet and the crowd at Commonwealth stadium was just announced as 43,178. The largest crowd in the CFL this season. The Eskimos owners must love the fact that Regina, or particularly Saskatoon and Northern Saskatchewan are closer to Edmonton than other places. Just as in many other cities, I'm sure there are many transplanted Saskatchewanians living in Edmonton and northern Alberta.

Since the biggest export out of Sask for years was it's population they're like flies, everywhere.

It will be interesting to see what the crowd is like in B.C. next week Sunday afternoon when the Riders visit. As long as Rider fans aren't too disillusioned, we might actually see a 30k+ crowd at the newly refurbished B.C. Place.

i wonder if we are going to see any sellouts this season aside from Sask and maybe Winnipeg.

Green nation is pretty good for the league.

I read somewhere that the 50/50 draw at the Edmonton game was over $99,000.

Holy crap! That's a little better than the $150 I enter at the local high school football game, haha.

What does the other half go to, charity or the Esks?

A minor football team typically.

That is an awesome amount to win, not only for the individual ticket holder but the group that the fund raiser was for. ..... As a minor football league..... What to do with 99 grand?
