That poster is worth crap now. You'll need a big X over one of those pics. Thing Barker will show to hear an ear full?

If the Argos beat Calgary with an exciting offence and Ray well-protected, Barker may get a standing ovation.

So they play in Calgary tomorrow night and then are supposted to make the corn roast on Sunday. Are they going to drive straight from Pearson. Hope they win because a bunch of pissed off players aren't going to show.

Thinking of attending my 1st Argo corn roast, can I bring a few beers in a cooler?

They do sell beer and coolers there with the proceeds going to charity.

Anyone go. It's been years since I've been but it was always fun. Went to the first three or four then missed the odd one with work. Haven't been to the last nine I guess.

It's been in the same place for 12 years in a row now and I've attended every one. They have a live band that plays hits from the 1970's. Corn was great as usual. Marc Angelo is a sponser of the Argos and they supplied the sausages. Beer was from a Toronto microbrewery called Amsterdam. Jordan Younger was the only Argo player that played in Calgary that was there. Jason Pottinger was also there but he didn't make the trip to Calgary. Dave Raimey and Pinball were the only alumni there. Pinball made a wonderful speech about the late Warren Hudson and Doran Major. Don Landry was the MC and it was his birthday. Ping was selling Argo merchandise at a good price. Weather was good and they even had a hot air balloon there for the first time but didn't allow it to go too high. Definitely a good time.

I figured the turnout would be low with guys having played in Calgary. Hot air balloon. Too funny. Guess it's been 12 years since I've been. I haven't been since they switched sites from the original.

Adrion Smith was also there. He lives within a 5 minute drive of the corn roast although he wouldn't give us his address for some reason.

What's Adrion up to these days? Haven't seen anything of him since he was on Sportsnet.

Adrion Smith, like all retired players put on a few pounds. Not to sound disrespective but I almost couldn't recognize him at the jersey launch.

Not just former players that put on a few so do fans. I couldn't gain wait until I hit 40 and now that I'm almost 50 it just stays.

He's a new dad again. And is working with Pinball on some investment something or other.
