I know he had cancer. He was a beast of a player and threw many a block for Gil Fenerty. Sad!!!

Doug McNicol also passed away today. Sad couple of days.
Yes that is said, also on top of which Gary the kid Carter also passed.
Wow. I hadn't heard about either Hudson or Carter although I knew that both were quite ill with cancer. Hudson was a terrific fullback for both the Argos and Bombers. It is sad to see these guys go far too soon.
BTW, it is easy to get on the Bombers and their fans but that franchise has lost an awful lot of players who played for them in the '80s, '90s and over the last decade to early deaths over the last three or four years. Doug MacIvor (also a former Argo), Steve Rodehutskors, Nick Benjamin, Tyrone Jones, Ricky Bell, Orlando Bobo and Warren Hudson are only a few of the former Bombers who have passed at young ages recently.
Here are the links to a couple of articles about Hudson's death: http://www.680news.com/sports/articl...o-brain-cancer

Cameron Dukes + Dan Adeboboye + Kevin Mital + David Ungerer + Damonte Coxie + DaVaris Daniels + Dejon Brissett = Unstoppable Force
What is even more eerie about this is the fact that they both died of the same cause. I believe Tyrone Jones of the Blue Bombers also died of a brain tumor.
I don't know too, too much about Hudson other than that he was a big contributor in the Bombers 1990 Grey Cup victory over Edmonton, but never a good thing to see someone pass away at such a young age. My condolences to family and friends.
All cancers suck, but brain tumors are among nastiest of them all.

Warren Hudson was a great Argo and an even better person. RIP.
