Elks lose again

The Elks have announced that Tre Ford will start against Saskatchewan.

MBT is reportedly injured.

And Jarious Jackson came up with a lame excuse that MBT has been battling an injury the last 2 games. Really? Than why not pull him earlier?

I’m calling BS on Jackson’s reasoning for moving away from MBT as the starting QB, he can’t come out and say MBT has been awful so he has to say he’s nicked up and needs a rest.

I wouldn’t say he’s been awful this year, but he sure was on Sunday. I’ve never argued about MBT not being a good QB, just not the right situation for him in Edmonton.

His best game was against the Argonauts, we can argue semantics all day but Edmonton is 0-7 and his overall play has contributed to their record.

MBT has always been a hot and cold quarterback - looks good on some occasions and awful on others. But there's no excuse for not putting in Tre Ford before this point as MBT has just not been effective in the majority of the games he's played in Edmonton. And I also think it's BS saying MBT is injured, it was just a lame excuse for Jackson to use. I'm sure the entire fan base would have have revolted if they hadn't announced that Tre Ford was starting in the next game. Don't know why it took Edmonton coaching and management so long to figure this out, when it was obvious to everyone else!!!!
