Ford has yet to learn a playbook, but there's always a chance it will happen, I suppose.
Scott Milanovich was channeling his inner Leo Cahill last night with his alternating of QBs during the same possession. I really don't think he has much confidence in Ford and, honestly, I see little progress in Ford over these past 5 years.
Relying solely on your exceptional god given physical talent once a professional, only gets you so far. Hes got to get into the heads of his coach, and BLM, the playbook and be first in, last out of that building the rest of the season. If he fully commits to that, the sky is the limit for Ford. No other QB has his physical gifts in the league.

It'll be a huge challenge whether it's Ford and/or Dolegala. They're gonna need to coach and play their butts off just to tread water.

They'll be fortunate if they can finish at .500.

Scotty M went another game under .500 on his CFL career coaching resume last game. They're going nowhere with that clown as HC, even if Bo had stayed healthy.

The Ticats offensive brain-trust - like all other CFL teams' - have no clue how to deploy a big-time mobile, run threat QB like Ford; he is not going to win sitting in the pocket in an all-pass offence; just like a Danny Mac type was not going to lead a roll-out, QB run option / run heavy offence anywhere. Dolegala has proven over & over he is not good passing QB; - his pass last night right into a Bombers DB's arms was classic; Ford at least threw a deep shot that coulda been a TD but was dropped by superstar Kenny Lawler; lots of other CFL examples like Chris Strevler (who at least could run) or that stiff Morgan the Als deployed last year. Ford's passing arm is better than those 3 put together, and if he had a different passport he might get lots more chances to improve or sink or swim. Too bad Dinwid beat Scotty M to the punch in signing MBT - LOL.

The Ticats have repatriated QB Harrison Frost from the UFL.

Hamilton Tre Ford is no different than Edmonton Tre Ford - the occasional moment of brilliance among many more moments of mediocrity.

Some of his deep passes are truly awful. Arm punts is an accurate description. And we lost to him grrr.

We had a dumb defensive game plan. You need to have a spy on him all game and dare him to throw down field. I remember Calgary used to do that against him with Cam Judge as the spy.

I am still feeling ticked off about that loss last week.

You are on the money again, AV! I would think that the book would be out on Tre Ford already across the league.
