Some year, it would sure be nice to figure out how to consistently get yardage from a QB sneak!

Fortunately this game didn't matter to the Argos. But how pathetic was their goal line offence? The defence was adequate but by no means was the Lion's offence as sharp as they can be.

On to Ottawa on the 16th.

Disappointing end to the game. That goal line series was horrible. Does this loss officially eliminate us from getting 1st in the East?

The short yardage QB sneak status in the league was discussed in the recent "who would u want from $hitty teams" thread.

Some experts think Arbuckle is just swell / very good for the job; maybe Horn would be as well. Whatever. How anybody could watch the likes of Tommy Stevens with the Riders or Vaughn with the Stamps and not grab a clue there is way beyond me.

I would rather lose on an interception than on 2 attempts from the one. Kudos to the D to give the team a chance to tie the game at the end.

No, if Montreal loses to Winnipeg, the Argos would still be alive for first.

Just spread everyone out and use the damn entire field in those situations rather than bringing everyone into the box and, effectively, telegraphing what you're going to do.

Regardless, nobody gave the Argos a chance at winning today - even when Chad Kelly was expected to start at QB - and they came up one yard short of having a chance to win this game. They can absolutely play with anyone in this league and their defence is improving each week.

Cool thanks. Makes today's loss even more hard to take. Gotta hope for the best in the Bombers game and bounce back against Ottawa.

Defense was solid but it was frustrating watching Rourke get away from quite a few failed sacks from our guys. Still kept them out of the end zone which was great.

If Montreal wins tonight yes it does. This was not a meaningless game as some would suggest.
