They got a very good player assuming he can regain his 2022 and 2023 form.ARGO57 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 7:49 pm Jonathan Jones signs with the Bombers.

I always liked Jones, simply got squeezed out with the abundance of talent around him. Will wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 2:18 pmThey got a very good player assuming he can regain his 2022 and 2023 form.ARGO57 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 7:49 pm Jonathan Jones signs with the Bombers.

Agree totally.

I hope Peterson gets an opportunity to be developed:

Re: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
He's replacing Augustine who signed with the Ticats and whose vet status was likely going to beat out Peterson for a roster spot. Peterson with the far superior resume to any RB this draft crop IMO. Smart move by the Bombers, and agree, hope he gets the opportunity and makes the most of it. I was kinda hoping Peterson would just get cut in Ticats TC and the Argos might look to pick him up. The amount of respect for top U Sports RB talent is very, very low by the GOB club in general though, IMO.j-ski wrote: ↑Tue Apr 29, 2025 12:27 pm I hope Peterson gets an opportunity to be developed:

Re: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Zach Collaros was suspended for one game. Not because he was caught doping, but because he wasn't reachable to take a drug test. It seems a bit silly to me.

Re: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
A suspension might be overkill, but the only way random drug testing works is if the individual can be reached and tested. If players turn off (or ignore) their phones and therefore can't be tested, we might as well give up on testing. That said, there's no reason the protocol couldn't include reaching out to a third party (say the CFLPA) to enlist its help in contacting the player. I imagine that change will be enacted now.
