Carey is a good choice for MOP, but case can also be made for McManis IMO. He missed quite a few games, tho, which might rule him out.
MODP IMO is not a DB but either McManis, Ceresna or Flo. I lean to McManis (with caveat as above).
Rookie is a tough call between Holley and Polk. I lean Holley, but voters might go for the flashier position.
MOOL is Hunter or Allen. I lean to Hunter.
Canadian is Hunter.
ST will be Grant but case could be made for Lirim as well.

MOP Carey
MOPD Ceresna
MOOL Allen but close call between him and Hunter
ROOKIE Toughest choice---Polk especially if he gets 1000 yds but Holley if he ends up with most sacks in year (even if he is tied)
CANADIAN Metchie

MOP: Carey (but I would have no issue with Kelly getting the nod as an FU to Ambrosie)
MODP: Ceresna (but I have no issue with McManis--only took Ceresna because McManis missed 6 games)
MOOL: Hunter--anyone that can bounce from G to T and not miss a beat wins in my book
Rookie: Polk--would walk away with league award if they had a QB that can regularly throw more than 5 yards all season
Canadian--Hunter--double winner

And the Argo's Nominees are:
MO Player: Ka'Deem Carey
MO Defensive Player: Dashaun Amos
MO Canadian: Lirim Hajrullahu
MO Offensive Lineman: Ryan Hunter
MO Special Teams Player: Janarion Grant
MO Rookie: Makai Polk
So... who do we think is in with a chance of a divisional or league wide nod?

Apparently this gets announced before the season ends, which is sort of stupid, but I digress.

Traditionally, this has always been the case. Back in the 1970s and 1980s, they would shoot grest film footage of the nominees for the Schenley Awards over the last two weeks of the season. I seem to recall that they had the divisional nominees in place for the last couple weeks of the regular season back then. Will wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 2:02 pm https://www.cfl.ca/2024/10/23/time-to-s ... spotlight/

Anybody know why TSN don't air the awards live on Thursday night anymore. They have 5 channels. They are producing the show to air on Grey Cup weekend. I used to enjoy watching the Schenleys. It kicked off Grey Cup week. With all of the CFL fans I'm sure it would rate better than showing ESPN 8 The OchoArgoRavi wrote: ↑Thu Oct 24, 2024 2:21 amTraditionally, this has always been the case.
