East Final Thread - Toronto Argonauts @ Montreal Alouettes
This game is almost sold out. Only a few dozen seats remain. Is anyone going to Montreal?

I was waiting for you to start this thread because you started the semi-final thread.
I am going to the game on Saturday, then off to the Grey Cup the morning of November 13.

This is going to be a great match-up for the East Final IMO.
Two deep, talented teams. Both with high powered offences but also some very good D talent.
Could be a high scoring affair like the Semi, but you never know? I don't think Kelly can expect to just throw all day to wide-open receivers against that (league best, IMO) Als secondary. I hope the Argos test the Als D with plenty of run. And the Argo D has to be able to do something different than last week to stop a strong, pass heavy attack, and Fajardo is a real run threat (where Dru Brown just is not).
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgooooos !!!

Thanks Will. Happy to do it. I don't post as much as others and certainly not as much on the X's and O's although I do understand the game. Enjoy Montreal and all of it's trappings. You are not on a business trip like the team is.

CFL Picks are in by the writers/staff. Split decisions for both games. Not surprising.

Montreal's defence has struggled against the run this season so I expect that the Argos will run the ball much more on Saturday than they did this past Saturday.OV Argo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 12:06 pm This is going to be a great match-up for the East Final IMO.

But they did a good job against Oliviers in the season finale against Winnipeg. It will be quite the chess game.ArgoRavi wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 9:02 pmMontreal's defence has struggled against the run this season so I expect that the Argos will run the ball much more on Saturday than they did this past Saturday.OV Argo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 12:06 pm This is going to be a great match-up for the East Final IMO.

The Argos are hosting a viewing party in the BMO Club for lucky ST holders. Drinks and food provided! They have held other events before, but I haven’t made the cut, luckily I got invited to this one. Anyone else going?

Thanks, I'll actually just be going for the day from Kingston. I didn't want to spend for another hotel room given the turnaround from this to Grey Cup.Scooter McCray wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 1:01 pmThanks Will. Happy to do it. Personally, I'll be watching from Hoops on Bremner. Have Leaf tickets afterward so here's hoping that the 4 of us in our Argo gear at a Leafs/Habs game are getting congratulated and not mocked.
Game wise: I'm curious how the Als set up to stop Chad and Co. I think that the whole game hinges on that and whether or not we can get to Cody.
